i hate how their cosplay fails...im so mad. but a little happy cuz i watched this along time ago and never could find it til now. please tell me this is a joke. please....i hate people who think highly of themselves
I loved it it was hilarious! "My name is edward elric!!" HAHAHA I'm a fan of all the animes shown especially digimon, and naruto, but I'm not obsessed with it.I proud to be taking japanese though! Watshiwa otaku jyaarimasen!
OK! first, AMERICANS dont think that way (im american but half england also!) SECOND! I HATE people like that sakura slug gurl and i HAAAATTTTEEEE it when people act like they are the best at cosplay!! If i was that reporter would have KILLED the both of them girls
wow, i know some hardcore cosplayers from a foreign exchange program, and i see your point! Many american cosplayers can be really irritating... HOW DOES ONE NOT HEAR OF T3l-l HOSTCLUB!!! *runs to shame corner*
I've never met any cosplayers that are like this. I've only met ones that respect other people and the anime/games they enjoy to watch/cosplay as.
There's one thing on this that is annoying to me though, you said that 'Digimon' was a rip off of 'okemon' but the release dates of the Digimon anime and the previous Digimon pets (little digital pets, one of the first versions of the tomagotchi) came out before the Pokemon games and the pokemon anime.
Sorry to get techincal like that, but I hate it when people say that Digimon was a rip off of Pokemon, when digimon aired almost a year earlier.
Other than that, pretty funny, although it was a bit insulting to people who enjoy those anime and manga.
Hoshite, these people scare me. They're like... those people who Narutard all over the internet and edit Naruto characters' hair on paint and then go around all "THIS IS MY NAHROOTOE O.C.! Sasuke is her boyfriend. " Gaaaahh drives me nuts. Poor photobucket is flooded with that crap. :I
In general, this is called taking fandom too far when you don't even know wtf you're talking about. XD Scary american fangirls.
Over-dramatic fandom in general is scary ._. Doesn't even matter if it's not animu-related... Twilight uberfans scare me in the same way.
Anyway, I loved the video. Made me laugh quite a bit. <3
I once was a narutard-MSPAINtARD. It be a sad road to go down. n .n But if I was never a Narutard, I would have never evolved into a DeathNoteTard. -shot- But yes, Narutards tend to be much more over the top, extreme, scary, and immature. In a bad way. :l
Hah, yea I was pretty bad. Sailor Moon was my first anime, then DBZ, then Naruto. Lou and behold, the internet made me a Narutard. But only for a short time. I found out other, MUCH better animes and got hooked.
O_O I thought an otaku was anyone who was really into anime/manga or was either totally obsessed with it! Like some sort of nerd for it or something!! Great! Now look what you did! You made me feel like a fucking retard!! Noooo!! I'm so freaking stupid!
Otaku is literally someone who buys anime stuff all the time, has it all over their house, and watches it every day and talks about it all the time.
People from Japan who see an Otaku literally think of them as people who are lower than them, like 'disgusting people, show them no respect'. That's why people hide their otakuism in japan in public unless its in Akihabara, the animu city in Japan.
Watch Densha Otoko, that show/movie shows how much people in reality treat otaku's who walk in today's street's.
Thank you for your valuable information!!! -bows down to the information person- I am not worthy! T 3T I wish I always had someone to clear up terms for me. If I had money, I'd buy anime stuff a lot, but not ALL THE TIME. I have like one anime poster and one figurine, but the rest are drawings me and my friends made. (3 or 4 of them) I don't watch it everyday because of school and other things I need to do to maintain grades, family/social life, etc. When I talk with my friends, I like to make random, outlandish anime refrences that nobody gets. But this isn't bad, it's just my way of showing that I like anime, and if anyone gets the refrence, we can talk about it, opening up more conversation possibilities. Cause I suck, socially. But I dun think I'm disgusting. >_>;; I hope nobody I care about thinks that, though. Then again, I'm not in Japan, and the word Otaku isn't commonly used by the people I care about, so for the reasons you listed I don't think anyone thinks I'm disgusting. Happi Leesuh is happi. Woot. Long rantexplainationthingy is long.
